Excellent Line!

I'm VERY particular about my gear. I've been tossing the 16' orange and red version of this line, with a Tenryu Furaibo TF39TA. I've tried just about every type of furled line....silk, kevlar, mono, etc. This is the only line that has been worth keeping (I ultimately ordered six and threw out all of my old lines). The Tenryu has no problem tossing this line with a 5' leader. I don't treat the line with anything....and it doesn't get super waterlogged and start slapping the water or lose casting performance. It seems much thinner than the lines I've used in the past, but doesn't tend to get any wind knots, even when casting in 15-20mph winds. They include a Nirvana line spool with the purchase, which is a nice touch. This will be the only furled line I use from now on.......

Great Line for Larger Flies

I have two of these lines - a 12.5’ for my HELLbender, and a 10’ for my TalonMINI. Both rods cast this line very well and work great for pond fishing. I’m an old man now and can’t do much hiking and wading, but I can still walk and bikefish ponds for bass and panfish. This line is perfect for that; it casts everything from small flies to bigger bass flies and poppers with ease. I especially like fishing poppers with it; the line floats for a long time before needing floatant making it easy to twitch a popper on top of the water. This is a great line; I highly recommend it.

Excellent furled line. Very dense and casts perfectly.

The Tachi line is probably the best all-around powerhouse Tenkara Lines I have ever used. From weightless kabari & dry flies to weighted nymphs, woolly buggers, hoppers, and even poppers. Most anything you want to cast with your tenkara rod, the Tachi furled tenkara line does it all! For dry flies just use line floatant on the furled line to get a great presentation out of a powerful line.

Our Tachi line is also a great choice for casting in windy conditions or fishing a dropper fly system, this line adds some punch to your cast. It is like our Katana Tenkara line on steroids.

This line is PREMIUM three leg furl that is hard to furl but the results is more power for a smaller diameter and smoother performance.

Tyler H.: “Moonlit’s Tachi furled line performed flawlessly against the strong summer winds of northern Patagonia. Poor fish never got a break. Thank you for producing an awesome furled line.”

David R: "I bought this line thinking that I would use it for trout fishing under breezy conditions. But it also serves me well when pond fishing for bluegill and other panfish. It cast effortlessly and is easy to keep off the water, but anchors nicely when needed. I really like this line!"
