Semperfli Micro Fritz Gel Core Body is a cool material that can be used to substitute several different materials and be much more durable.  It is perfect for small fly bodies and micro thoraxes from lures to nymphs.

There are plenty of options to incorporate this material into your fly tying arsenal. You can look to use it as a substitute for pheasant tail on your bodies, as well as substitute for peacock herl in your bodies and thorax of your flies.  This makes your flies much more durable, and faster to tie.  As with all Semperfli Chenille's and Fritz materials these have cores that stop the fibers falling apart when tying your flies.
