Royal Wolf Sakasa Kebari - Tenkara Fly Tying Video

This is a tenkara fly pattern I tied a lot of early on in my Tenkara Adventure when I was just starting to tie my own flies. It is simple, a lot of fun to tie, and has caught me many fish. Hope you enjoy the tie!

• Moonlit ML251 #12 barbless fly tying hook
• Red Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread
• Peacock Herl
• Partridge Hackle (or pheasant hackle)
• My favorite Whip Finish tool: Stonfo Whip Finisher

This is a simple effective soft hackle tenkara fly that should work good especially for trout in mountain creeks & streams. This fly is meant to be fished as a wet fly (sub-surface).
