• Moonlit ML201 #10 (or #12) barbless fly tying hook
• Red thread - Semperfli Classic Waxed Thread
• Peacock Herl
• Antique Gold - Semperfli Micro Metal (or Copper Wire)
• Vicunna Dubbing in JW Cinnamon Swirl
• Dun Variant Metz #1 Hen Saddle (or Brahma Hen or Partridge)
• My favorite Whip Finish tool: Stonfo Whip Finisher

This is a very effective soft hackle tenkara fly that should work on all waters and most species of fish, especially trout in mountain creeks & streams. This fly is meant to be fished as a wet fly (sub-surface).

It is a very basic fly to tie.
