Futsu kebari stiff hackle tenkara flies have become very popular in the USA the last few years and this Peacock Hot Head FUTSU Kebari is my favorite. You could treat it and fish it as a dry fly but it is meant to be fished as a stiff hackle wet fly. At any rate, it plain catches fish and you will love it!

Tied on a high quality size #14 Moonlit Competition Barbless hook.
You get 12 flies.

Works Well on Stocker 'Bows

I would like to add my recommendation to the other reviews. During the winter I fish for stocker rainbows in Texas Hill Country rivers and streams. This futsu hothead has been a consistent producer. I fish it as a wet fly on my tenkara rods, and the stiff hackle serves as an excellent "anchor" in the water so that I can feel every trout tap. Quality of the flies is excellent!

More brookies!

Like the other reviewer said, small stream brookies love these. Got one in a kit, buying more. Too many brookies to count on these in souther Wyoming.

Brookie Mayhem!

Just got back from a 4 day fishing trip in remote north western Colorado. These flies were by far the most successful for small stream fishing of brook trout. It may be my new favorite fly.

Panfish slayer

As I’ve been trying different Dragontail flies, everything seems to produce at some point. This peacock hothead has become one of my personal favorites on small ponds, and really anywhere you come across panfish. This little fly SLAYS bluegill. It’s an absolute panfish magnet, and just flat out catches fish no matter how you present!
