Futsu kebari stiff hackle tenkara flies have become very popular in the USA the last few years and this Peacock Hot Head FUTSU Kebari is my favorite. You could treat it and fish it as a dry fly but it is meant to be fished as a stiff hackle wet fly. At any rate, it plain catches fish and you will love it!

Love these Futsu Kebari. The stiffer hackle holds up well as a wet fly -- I just used it to catch a walloping number of brookies at a high Sierra lake. The perfect balance of imitation and attraction for those hungry fish. Well tied!
