Tied on a high quality size #10 Moonlit Barbless hook.

The Oxford Wool Kebari is a creation by Tom Davis of Teton Tenkara and in 2023 it became one of Brent's favorite tenkara flies to use as it was very effective for us. This is a Sakasa soft hackle tenkara fly and is fished as a wet fly.

Catches fish, period.

Spent the day fishing a small alpine lake from the tree lined shore. Bow & arrow casting these off my Mizuchi with a 9ft furled line. Landed two 12-13" rainbow trout back-to-back minutes after another angler in a float tube tried the same spot using a caddis with no luck. Not the first time that I've done the exact same thing in the exact same spot while Western fly anglers in float tubes had no luck. The fish cannot resist these flies.

Awesome Flies

Really great flies at a really great price. Like all Dragontail/Moonlit gear, I fish several Dragontail tenkara rods, these flies are truly top quality and really do catch fish! Best of all, they are from a local Idaho company.

Has become a "confidence fly" for me.

Trout in both my slow, mild waters of the Wisconsin Driftless Area, and the cold mountain waters of the Alps, absolutely smack this thing. A very effective pattern, and size. In fact, the Oxford Wool Kebari has become one of my “confidence flies” - if I work a water with it, with little or no response, I can comfortably move on, to another water or another day. Constraint was the trout (or lack thereof), not the fly.
