Gravedigging and releasing.

This has been a consistently good pattern for my local waters. It seems on first glance that you'd want more natural colors, but this pattern simply catches fish. It may be a gravedigger, but those fish apprciate the return to the water after being "grave-dug"!

My Grave Diggers are never as pretty as these.  The hackles stand out beautifully and the proportions are perfect. And the price is right!

Not sure what it is about this fly, but the bream in the State of GA cannot resist it. I have caught well over 200 of them to prove it. I pulled 50 out during a full day of fishing 12/12/22. What a day! I have done this several times, so it is not a 1 off. I have presented other flies but nothing comes close to the production of this fly. I will keep a hand full with me at all times.
