12 Hare's Ear Kebari Flies

Well made!

I fish primarily in the Montana Crazies. Alpine lakes and the like. My best day was 100 fish (admittedly probably the same poor 20 souls that kept biting, but who cares!) I ran out of flies because they got chewed to pieces. Other Kebari flies were productive as well, but the hares ear is a cut above. So far I’ve caught rainbows and cutthroats, browns and a few brookie’s on them. Even a few panfish. Other fly fisherman have seen this fly land 10 fish in 20 minutes and sheepishly come to ask what I was using. I always point them to Dragontail to order these. Amazing value, amazing fly!

Great flies

This is my pilot fly that I use on new fishing spot or check to see how active trout are. It has wire wrapped around, so I can sink it. And big hackle provide good action on the fly. Bulky body and wide hackle can easily be seen in the water.

It is always astonishing that a little string and feather catches the attention of a trout, and this fly has done exactly that. It’s a great versatile size and offers good action in the water. I would recommend them for trout in particular.
