This 7.5 liter fully waterproof (IPX-7 rated) fly fishing sling pack with easy to use airtight zippers is large enough to carry your fishing gear for the day and probably a lunch as well. It is also small enough that you don't feel like you have a large backpack on one shoulder. It has comfortable and breathable padding for your back and shoulder so you can wear it all day.

It feels like a lifetime grind to find the perfect sling or light pack for blue line fishing. I constantly am combatting whether I am taking too little or too much with me. This sling pack is PERFECT for my needs for a day trip. I can fit a small water bottle in the bag a few extra things for the endeavor.

The pockets internally are perfectly placed and items do not come out while hiking or slinging around. On a recent trip, we had a huge storm that quickly put us under a tree for a good 15 minutes. I still got very wet and I put my phone and fly box in the pack with no leaks or issues from it.

The two point attachments to help keep it positioned are very well thought out and I love the natural way this pack can sling around me. I also love how you can use a long handled net or your standard tethered net set up. The zipper can be a little tricky to close where it's heavy duty waterproof but I think DT made the best sling pack out there and it's going on every tenkara adventure for me!

I'm not normally a pack wearer, but I thought I would give this a try for longer day trips. It is very clear this pack was actually designed by a fly fisherman. The sizes of the compartments inside the bag fit my fly boxes, tippet, and extra spools perfectly. There are plenty of clips on the strap to attach nippers, pliers, gink, or whatever you need on retractors. There is also a stabilizing second strap that prevents the pack from moving. This helps so much when you swing the pack around to your chest to change flies. The zipper is stout but there are loops at each end to pull against to zip up and down. It holds a surprising amount for a 7.5L pack. You can fit several fly boxes, a bottle of water, snacks, and a rain jacket with ease. I can't fully speak to the water proofing as I have never intentionally submerged it, but it has kept my things dry when wading belly deep. Good luck and tight lines!
