The Red Ass Monkey Kebari is a creation by Tenkara Guides LLC and it became a favorite tenkara fly for many to use as it was very effective. This is a Sakasa soft hackle tenkara fly and is fished as a wet fly.

First time out with my Tenkara rod, tied on one of these flies, and moments later landed my first fish. The fish in the mountain lakes we hiked to seemed to really like these kebari flies. Others with me were fly fishing but did not have nearly the same success. The fish weren’t the only ones hooked on Tenkara.
