27.25″ DRAGONtail Rod case will hold up to 3 tenkara rods that are 26.5″ or less collapsed Tenkara rod. You can store the rods in the case with or without their sock/sleeve. Weighs 13.6 ounces.

The case is a rounded triangular shape so it easily fits up to 3 tenkara rods in the least amount of space and is not much bigger than a regular tenkara rod tube.

This case makes it easy to take multiple rods with you without multiple cases taking up a lot of room and the convenient zip top makes it easy to get rods in and out.

Has a handle as well as an adjustable shoulder strap for convenience of carrying around.

Great case - fits my tenkara rods easily and securely.

I absolutely love these cases for my Tenkara rods. I have 2 of them now and can easily fit 3 rods per case in their socks and take them with me with no fear of damage. This case is small and light enough to carry backpacking and have rod choice. I have tried other products and even with this budget minded price, I feel these cases are superior. If you fish Tenkara and have more than 1 rod then you can’t go wrong with this case.

Roomy and Secure

It holds three rods in their socks, and there is room for extra tips or the fiberglass sections for my Mizuchi. I added a hang tag to differentiate between my rod cases, everyone seems to us gray.
Thank you for another great product.

Just what I needed

I carry probably 10 or more rods at a time in my suv and this is both a great way to protect them as well as save space over having everything in their own rod tubes. I'll be getting more for sure.

Only one criticism

Love the case except for one thing. I’m a 5,4” women. - The shoulder strap. - I find it pretty useless. It’s not long enough to adjust so that it fits properly over head and shoulder for hiking. And no way to remove it if you don’t need it for some reason. Being a seamstress I cut it off and sewed a longer adjustable strap to it. And made it removable. I can’t imagine the strap it comes with being able to fit on a man. Yes you can just hang it on your shoulder but it’s still tight at its longest length and on me kept slipping off. It was NOT long enough to fit over head and shoulder. Sorry. But it’s my only issue. The length and diameter are great and I can fit two dragon tail rods (mizuchi and hellbender) with rods socks on (one right side up and one upside down). OR 4 rods with no socks. For the next version I’d like to suggest an improvement besides the strap issue. It would be really cool if the case was a tad bit wider for this reason… if the zippered cap was a tad wider and a tad deeper. I could store my round line holders inside the cap and still have room for the foam piece. These are the silicone line holders with space for a few small flies. Also a tip. You can stash a few flies on the underside of the foam in the cap.
